I can't sleep. I woke up at 3am, with thoughts of the trip clogging up my head. I just finished making up a chart with all of the days left until the plane leaves, and tried to organize all of the last-minute tasks that have to be done before we leave: collect the DVRs and remotes and return them to Comcast, clean out the fridge and pantry and donate all the unopened food to the Larimer Foodbank, pick up the dry cleaning, stop by the bank, schedule haircuts for me and Frankie, blah, blah blah...
Long story short, the next few days are going to be very busy.
Ugh. I need to stop fretting and planning and get back to bed!
One last thing, though. The going away party at Matt's parents' house was wonderful. It was so nice to see everyone, and I even got little choked up saying goodbye. The reality has finally set in. We're really leaving.
Woah.
I hope you got back to sleep! Of anyone I know, you're a great planner, and I know you'll get everything done. You're doing a wonderful job!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to the 3:00 in the morning lists. Remember that anything you foget can be purchased in the UK, we can send it, Mark or one of us can take care of it, or I can bring it at the end of the month. I think thi is going to be such a great adventure but no adventure is without it's challenges.
