What do you and Matt miss?
There are three things from home that I'm really missing:
First, Hershey's syrup. They don't have anything even remotely similar here, and it makes me sad. Frankie likes drinking chocolate milk, and if I make her one with Hershey's, I only have to put a tiny little bit in. If I buy pre-made chocolate milk, though, it's way too chocolatey.
Second, pancake syrup. It blows my mind a little, but they just don't use it here. No maple syrup. No Mrs. Butterworth's. Nada.
Third, plain old-fashioned original-style Lubriderm lotion. I've been using Lubriderm after my morning shower since my grandma Mickey recommended it when I was fifteen years old. I forgot to bring some over, and I can't buy any here. Once you get used to something in your daily routine, nothing else is quite the same.
I don't know what exactly Matt misses... Maybe Mexican food?
Oh! I bet he misses Starbucks coffee.
You know what else I totally miss? US Celebrity gossip magazines. They've always been my guilty pleasure. True, they have them here, but I have no idea who any of the people in them are!!
