Hiking Boot

When we got back from Edinburgh, we had an absolutely amazing run of good weather. It's been nicer this past week than I've ever seen it here: Warm, sunny, and blue, cloudless skies. Some of the local moms were telling me that this is the nicest weather they've had in Maryport in ages, and that it was hotter (high seventies/low 80s) than they remember it being for years.

So, Dove lucked out on that front.  I don't think we had a single day of rain the entire week he was visiting.

To take advantage of the nice weather, Matt took the day off on Tuesday and brought Mark on a long hike through the countryside near the small town of Boot. Here are a few snaps fom their outing:

This country side is so amazing. I understand why Matt likes these hikes. I'm sure Mark loved it too.

The landscape IS amazing, but I can't seem to get past seeing a clean-shaven Matt. ;)
